PROJECT country - Kazakhstan became an EIFL project country in 2011. East Kazakhstan Oblast Pushkin Library, Kazakhstan is one of our Public Library Innovation Programme (PLIP) Phase 2 grantees, which replicate innovative services created in PLIP Phase 1.

East Kazakhstan Oblast Pushkin Library will comogine tradition and modern technology to build youth skills through its Youth IT-Yurt service. This project is among 14 public libraries selected to replicate services created in the first phase of EIFL-PLIP. This service replicates two Phase 1 services: Public Library Zavidovići’s Youth Corner and Multi-Media Centre in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Public Library Braka Miladinovci’s Creative Minds Create Job Opportunities in Radovis, Macedonia.
