Description
The one-year Pilot Project on Greenstone User Support in Southern Africa began in May 2007 to catalyse a sustainable digital library support and development effort in the sub-region. This project ends on the 31 May 2008 and aimed to train about 60 Greenstone application developers, implement at least three model operational digital library applications, and set up a self-help community which will continue after the pilot project is completed. eIFL.net will be hosting the meeting and the other confirmed participants are Amos Kujenga of the National University of Science and Technology Library in Zimbabwe,Renate Morgenstern of University of Namibia, Geoffrey Salanje of Bunda College in Malawi and Repke de Vries, digital library practitioner. The tentative agenda is attached.
