The EIFL Public Library Innovation Programme Award for public and community library health services is now open.

We are seeking exciting stories about health services, to tell the world about the good work libraries are doing and to inspire other libraries to start health services. To enter the competition, you must tell us the story of your service, showing how you have improved health in your community.

There is only a short time to apply – the deadline is July 31. Winners will receive a prize of US$1,500 and the opportunity to showcase their services at an international conference or gathering.

The competition is open to public and community libraries in developing and transition countries. We are accepting applications in English, French, Russian and Spanish.

This is the second call in our exciting series of innovation awards. Winners of the first Innovation Award call – for library services that improve economic wellbeing – will be announced soon.
