The Metamorphosis Foundation launched Digital Repositories website

The Metamorphosis Foundation launched Digital Repositories website as an adaptation of the Digital Repositories infoKit published by JISC infoNe. It is available in Macedonian language and will soon be released in Albanian language as well.

The Metamorphosis Foundation also released a Virtual DSpace Machine in Macedonian and Albanian languages. DSpace, free open source software for setting up digital repositories, is now available as a virtual machine in OVF (Open Virtualization Format) that can be installed and running in less than one hour depending on the configuration of the server it is being installed on. The DSpace training was held on July 8 at the Institute of Economics to train the staff to manage an open access institutional repository (forthcoming) and to deposit materials.
