New toolkit available for training sessions on OA, open data and open science
The FOSTER project has released a toolkit for training sessions on open access (OA), open research data and open science

You are here

The toolkit, developed by EIFL, provides a number of tested and proven guides for organizing training events.

Are you a student, researcher, librarian or policy maker planning any trainings on open access, open research data or open science?

Check out the new FOSTER (Facilitate Open Science Training for European Research) toolkit for training sessions.

The toolkit, developed by EIFL, provides a number of tested and proven guides for organizing training events.

It is useful for a variety of audiences, including:

  • training sessions for academic staff (researchers) and students;
  • training sessions for institutions (research administrator and librarians);
  • training sessions for research project managers and
  • training sessions for policy-makers and staff working in funding bodies.

The toolkit also summarizes good practice experiences in hosting FOSTER training sessions for different stakeholders and provides recommendations for those who would like to organize similar training events.

BACKGROUND

EIFL is a partner in FOSTER, a European Commission funded project that aims to support different stakeholders, especially young researchers, in practicing open access, open data sharing and open science. EIFL leads the training programme. Read more about EIFL’s involvement in the project here and about the projects events in 2015 here.
