EIFL Open Access Programme Project Coordinator Milica Ševkušić will facilitate consultations on institutional open science policies and publishing regulations with librarians from research and academic institutions in Serbia. The consultations will focus on the progress made and challenges encountered in adopting and updating institutional policies.

Following the adoption of Serbia’s new National Open Science Policy in December 2024, all research institutions in Serbia are expected to align their internal policies with the national framework or develop new ones where such policies are not yet in place. The meeting will provide a space for exchanging experiences, identifying common obstacles in meeting  expectations, and sharing practical approaches to implementing open science principles at the institutional level.
