EIFL in Bosnia and Herzegovina

EIFL supported the creation of the Electronic Information Consortium of Bosnia and Herzegovina (EICBIH) in 2004, and through this partnership libraries in Bosnia and Herzegovina gained access to a wide range of scholarly e-resources.

EIFL has provided training and a support service to raise awareness of library copyright issues.

EIFL's engagement with public libraries resulted in an innovative pilot project that is helping libraries meet the information needs of their communities. In 2010 - 2011, we supported the public library in Zavidovici to create an attractive learning space where village children could spend time while waiting for buses to take them home after school.
