EIFL has signed a renewal agreement with EBSCO Information Services for the EBSCO eBook Academic Subscription Collection.

The EBSCO eBook Academic Subscription Collection offers cross-searchable access to a multidisciplinary library of over 210,000 high-quality, unlimited-user e-books from leading university presses and academic publishers. New titles are added monthly at no extra charge. Access is via the EBSCOhost platform, which offers user-friendly functionality, and a wide range of customization options to support the needs of researchers. An interface for mobile devices is also available.

The agreement runs until December 2024 and is open to library consortia and libraries in 25 EIFL partner countries:

Armenia, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Ethiopia, Georgia, Kenya, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lesotho, North Macedonia, Malawi, Maldives, Moldova, Namibia, Nepal, Palestine, Senegal, Serbia, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Zambia, Zimbabwe
