EIFL has signed a renewal agreement with Credo for its Credo Online Reference Service, Academic Core Collection.

The Credo Online Reference Service combines innovative technology with award-winning content to provide users with a strong reference context. The collection covers all major subjects, with 700+ e-books from more than 95 publisher imprints including Cambridge University Press, Elsevier, Routledge, SAGE, and Wiley-Blackwell.

Platform features include thousands of Topic Pages to give an overview of a subject; the Credo Mind Map, which visually shows the relationship between subjects; a multilingual user interface, including French and Polish; a translation tool and a 'listen' feature that reads content out loud.

2015 saw mobile optimization for the Credo platform, the possibility to set the Mind Map as a default search, and a new layout for entry pages to make navigating content even easier.

The agreement runs until December 2018 and is open to libraries and consortia in 43 EIFL-partner countries:

Algeria, Angola, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Cambodia, Cameroon, Congo, Estonia, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, Ghana, Kenya, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Latvia, Lesotho, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malawi, Maldives, Mali, Moldova, Mongolia, Namibia, Nepal, Nigeria, Palestine, Poland, Senegal, Serbia, Slovenia, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
