Report prepared by EIFL and IFLA (the International Federation of Library and Information Associations and Institutions) within the framework of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) Dynamic Coalition on Public Access in Libraries (DC-PAL). The report provides an overview of evidence of the impacts and benefits of public access to computers and the internet in libraries in different countries and regions, and of the quantitative and qualitative research methodologies that  have been used to assess and measure these impacts and benefits.
