CRIS (Current Research Information Systems) are becoming more and more relevant to monitor research activities and outputs, highlighting strengths and weaknesses of institutional performance and providing insight for budget allocation, collaboration and funding opportunities, etc. DSpace-CRIS is a free open-source extension of DSpace. It is compliant with open standards, and provides institutions with a sustainable and effective tool to manage research information such as researchers’ profiles, department pages, project grants and  awards, research outputs, metrics, reports and statistics.  

In this webinar, Susanna Mornati, Chief Operating Officer at 4Science, explains DSpace-CRIS and its value for institutions. Giorgi Banetishvili, the DSpace-CRIS team member from the National Scientific Library of Georgia, shares his experience of using DSpace-CRIS.
