The Diamond OA Policy Forum Africa is an online space where policymakers, funders and OA experts meet to share, discuss and develop policy and funding mechanisms for Diamond OA to support more equitable, diverse, and community-led scholarly publishing.
The Forum arises out of the the ALMASI (Aligning and Mutualizing Nonprofit Open Access Publishing Services Internationally) project, which brings national, regional and institutional policymakers together from three regions: Africa, Latin America and Europe. EIFL is a partner in the ALMASI project.
There will also be forum meetings in English (3 March 2026) and Portuguese (11 March 2026).
